Lucille D'Aquino
Lucille has always found ways to develop her creative talent. While raising a family Lucille was also busy sketching and painting ceramics.
Her talent was well recognized and Lucille’s daughters presented her with a gift to study fine arts at the Amanda Layre Studio in 2010. Since then Lucille has also studied with Bucks County PA. artists, Materese Roche and Jas Szygiel.
Lucille layers color and creates textures that transform images into vibrant scenes that are rich with detail. Lucille finds inspiration in nature with landscapes, animals, birds and still life. Whether recreating the rustic charm of rolling hillsides or capturing the beauty of a Shetland pony on a farm in Bucks County, Lucille uses pastels and oils to portray the unique essence of each piece
